- ” Evolution and The Kitchen Sink”
- Howdy!, and welcome aboard once again. I believe that most of us are some what familiar with ,Charles Darwin’s theory of Evolution. Most have encountered it at school somewhere a long the way ,between middle school and college. It is a scientific theory, that has yet to be proven. The theory while an interesting read has more holes in it than a slice of swiss cheese ☺️☺️I’m not going to keep you in suspense, but just jump right in. I don’t believe in Evolution , and I have some pretty strong convictions about that. I believe in creation, and see much more evidence for that than I do for Darwin’s theory. It takes way more faith to believe that we evolved from pond scum over millions of years, I mean like if you want to believe that your DNA, is the make up of pond scum, and that you some how drug yourself up on the shore and eventually , somehow grew arms and legs ,and that your gills became lungs, that is your prerogative, again takes a lot of faith to believe that, and in true Dr. Phil form, ” good luck with that “.I guess that brings up the question about the “Big Bang”, if all of the stuff in the Bible is true , then God is incredibly amazing and capable of anything, so if it makes you more comfortable that God used a Big Bang to bring creation into existence, then please feel free to run with it ☺️☺️. As I said before, I have some pretty strong convictions here, and I welcome any and all questions. An Alexander Hamilton quote, ” If you don’t know what you believe and how to defend it, you will fall for anything ” , and trust me when I tell you that I’m not that guy. I get that we sometimes behave like a lower life form, but that is mostly from a poor upbringing, or some how believing that your poop doesn’t smell just like everyone’s else. You may be a person with a silver spoon mentality, but at the start or end of the day, you put your pants on just like everyone else, one leg at a time. I mean if Evolution is true, why aren’t we seeing these transitional life forms happening before our eyes. Everybody is always talking about the missing link, its not missing, it just doesn’t exist. There has got to be something more to it than a cross breading within the same subspecies. Yes, you can breed a bull dog with a great Dane and get a boxer, new breed, but not a new species. The same is true for the cross breeding of large cats such as a Lion with a Tiger, another new breed of animal but not a new species. This one is a fairly new for me but a Cowolf, coyote and wolf , but both deriving from the canine family. And yes to our delight, botanist, scientists and florist ,have had great success at cross pollinating various plants and flowers ,with magnificent beauty ,which can only be seen as adding to something that God has already done on an incredible level. The thing about the survival of the fittest is not new or even that hard to see. If you took a completely strong newborn baby and left it in the woods ,it would have a very low survival rate, but that doesn’t mean if it was properly nurtured and cared for that it could be one of the strongest specimens of a human being. Bigger and stronger usually prevails over weak and uninspired. How many times have you ever seen a woman looking for a potential mate, say that she was looking for weak, puny and scrawny? That is also true in the animal world as well and it plays to what would be best for survival, either through good genes, or strength to be protected, and the ability to provide for. Now, it’s true that both animals and people dress things up a bit to increase the likelihood of attracting a prime mate, ,not a former primate as Darwin suggests ☺️☺️. So whether it’s impressive plumage feathers on some bird or a human being trying to reach and maintain the proper body mass index, everyone wants to feel that they are getting the primo ,best that they can, and not settling for something or someone who may be on the bottom shelf. ☺️☺️. If Evolution was true ,there would be fewer and fewer abnormalities in the human gene pool, but we actually see is more of that and not less. We can screen for certain abnormalities prior to birth, but less often before conception. And what is the deal with the recessive gene from several generations ago, that gives us the red hair and freckles?. Some recessive genes, such as blue eyes are welcomed, while other are ,not so much so! Evolution would have you believe that we are moving towards becoming better as human beings, and moving towards something that would resemble a society that looks like star trek and a federation of planets. However, I think that you can just turn on the news and see that is not true. When you look at the world as a whole, does it look as if it’s moving towards a Utopia,, or more like wars and rumor of wars? Actually since the beginning of time, that is the one thing that we have constantly improved in ,and that is killing one another. Whether you believe that Cain killed Abel or not, you have to admit that we have come along way in the destruction of one another. It’s no longer bows and arrows, spears, swords, but we are high tech now with our ability to bomb someone back to the stone ages, or completely off of the map. I know that there is more to Darwin’s theory than the brief synopsis that I gave, but the deeper we dig , the more holes we find. Lets talk a little bit about the kitchen sink , and how it fits into the process. First of all most people fall into one of two categories. They are either a science and math person, usually very logical and analytical in their approach to life, or some what artistic , creative, and more of an out of the box thinker. Very few people are 50/50, but I suppose there are always a few exceptions. I guess its like people who claim to be bisexual , I would suspect that is very rarely is 50/50 as well, or they are just plain old greedy. ☺️☺️In the dating world, or in the process of finding the “ONE”, it can look extremely different on many fronts and not always in a pretty fashion. I think that it gets further complicated, when so many believe in horoscopes and try their best to live up to what the stars say that they are supposed to be. I have said before that I’m not an astrology guy , but some of the mainframe things they say about people born around the same time of the year is uncanny. Here we can agree or agree to disagree. I sometimes scratch my head, when I see couples together. Sometimes in a crowded room full of people, they would be the last two that you would put together. You think to yourself that they must obviously have something that is working for them. Well, maybe, maybe not. It can be a great mystery as to how sometimes people end up together and we should never rule out desperation. The one thing I have found out in life is that misery really loves company. It’s not always actually misery, but hurting souls gravitate towards other hurting souls. They just uniquely find one another. It’s as if there is some amazing cosmic power moving them towards one another. My pastor always says that we are all weird and yes there is an element of truth to that, but if you some how find your weird, then it makes you just a little less weird, because, now, you are not the only one with that kind of weird. Find enough of the same kind of weird and you can start your own emotional support group ☺️☺️. I know some of you are thinking what,?.. I think this is never more true than on college campuses. How do all of the fringe people find one another? Ok, the jocks and band kids, and maybe even some of the political groups are a little obvious, but what about the Gothic kids, or the super nerdy ones that don’t fit in for the chess club or even one of those science clubs, you know the ones I’m talking about, and you know that they always seem to find one another. When it comes to couples we can be all over the place, much like this post☺️☺️. There are no hard and fast rules about what goes with what. There was a time when people ended up with people who looked similar to oneself, but that is no longer true. Do you remember a time when it seemed if you knew a couple who had been together for thirty-five plus years that they started to resemble each other, more like a brother and sister, than a husband and wife. Whatever you have in mind for physical attraction you can some what throw out the window. I have seen ,small men with very large women and when it’s the other way around, it just seems so much more acceptable in our minds. I try not to judge, I know that people have health issues, such as thyroid issues and no one can deny the havoc that having a baby can do to a woman’s body. Personally I always admired my wife’s stretch marks because that is what allowed her to bring our blessings of kids into the world. And no, she did not always share the sentiment ☺️☺️. Here’s one for the strange sightings, there was a story some years back about a guy who loved big woman, I guess that is known as BBW, well he met and fell in love with this woman, but she was not his body type for the liking, so he thought, no problem, I will just fatten her up , yep, just like a Thanksgiving turkey. He proceeded to cook for her , take her out to eat, and all along being very complimentary as she began to expand. She did become aware of his devilish intent, and she was out of there, she thought how sick and twisted ☺️☺️, but we all like what we like. I’m not going to call this next thing the elephant in the room, because I only became aware of it, like the last decade or so myself. It’s probably has always been around like a lot of other things and I was just unaware because it had never crossed my radar. It’s the world we live in, everything is just out in the open for all to gander at, be awe struck or to feel deplorable about it . There is this thing called “sapiosexual “, have you heard of this?? No, ! , I didn’t just make that up, it’s a real thing. The premise here is that it doesn’t matter what you look like, how hot or not, it makes no determination for all of the other factors, for what we might consider towards getting us horny, and keeping us that way, the supreme factor here is intelligence. So if you aren’t smart enough the panties or boxers don’t go bye bye-bye ☺️☺️. These people’s juices are unleashed by IQ, and IQ alone. It is a novel idea, and if it was a requirement across the board, think about how many of us would be practicing celibacy ☺️☺️ yes I included myself in the mix☺️☺️. It’s clear that when you talk about the evolution of the human race and the human genome pool, we haven’t changed much over the Millenniums , we still struggle with all of the worse things of the human experience, such as greed , envy, hatred, and all kinds of malice towards one another. It’s true that we are capable of love and great acts of compassion, but don’t get it twisted and think that the dark side isn’t just a heart beat away. I know that some of you think Evolution must be true, how else can you account for the early development of our youth. Ahhh, yes thirteen year old looking like they are twenty or older, and teenage boys with facial hair and muscles that would give the incredible Hulk a run for his money☺️☺️. Well don’t discount all of the hormones that we inject into our food supply to get a baby chic to a full Perdue roaster in less than thirty days. Just look around the world at developing countries, that do not possess our technology for growing and super sizing our live stock , and you don’t see the same trends that you see in the west or in the other developed nations. If any of you guys out there come across the Sasquatch, big foot of some other freak of nature, aka ” the missing link”, I would love to hear about it and possibly meet your brother from another mother☺️☺️☺️.
